Class is in Session: Welcome to Life at RaiseMe!

Welcome to our RaiseMe team blog! We’re excited for you to get to know us better.

Our mission is to empower all students to discover & realize their college ambitions.

In order to achieve that mission, we’ve brought together a team of incredible people from a broad set of backgrounds and experiences. At the heart of RaiseMe is the belief that people are our biggest strength, and that our culture and strategy goes hand-in-hand. That’s why we’re excited to launch the RaiseMe team blog, where you’ll get to know more about our team, our work, and our culture (not to mention our dogs, too!)

Each of our team members (or our RaiseMe “Raisins”, as we call ourselves internally) bring their hard work and dedication to our mission daily, making it possible for us to change students’ lives. We’ll be using our team blog to highlight who we are, our values, the problems we’re solving, our learnings, and most importantly — build our community.

Though we’re sharing a lot about RaiseMe with you, we want this to be a dialogue, not a one-way street. Now, you’ll be able to put faces to names — faces to the people who are powering our mission.

We want to hear from you — and if you’re interested, join us on this adventure!

As the Director of Operations, Megan leads a talented team that supports RaiseMe’s mission, people, and business objectives as we grow & scale. You’ll find her working cross-functionally across all aspects of the business to set our team members and company up for success. Prior, she worked at Mapbox and APCO Worldwide in London. Megan holds a M.Sc. in Global Politics from the London School of Economics and B.A. in Political Science from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville (Go Vols!). She is currently a Chapter Leader of the Operators Guild, member of StartupExperts, member of North Beach Neighbors’ Small Business Committee, and volunteer for political causes that support women and the community.
