Announcing RaiseMe’s first-ever Shark Tank Innovation Challenge!

Students, ever wonder how technology can, and should, improve our communities? We invite you to RSVP for our competition to do just that — to think through how technology can solve for an issue within your home, your school, your community. In this competition, you will partner with other students from all over the Bay Area to brainstorm, create, and present an idea to a panel of judges from leading businesses and organizations. Whether your passion lies in writing, math, drawing, public speaking, or something else entirely, this is the opportunity to flex your skillset and combine it with other students to create something that addresses such an important issue of our time. The RaiseMe team will be there with you as well, to help work with you on your innovative ideas!

This is a phenomenal way to boost your college applications through participation in the event, and add something special to your resume. The challenge will also teach you about design-thinking, an innovative approach to problem solving that is becoming an increasingly desired skill, and one that you can take with you into college and beyond into your career.

9am to 3:45pm

Will there be food?

Yes! Free breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided for students.

Do I need to bring anything?

Nope! RaiseMe will have everything you need to participate.

Need more reason to participate?

Students will not only get the opportunity to learn new skills from this innovation challenge and from experts across various industries, but also receive a unique micro-scholarship for their participation in the event itself. This micro-scholarship is exclusive for student participants and is the first of its kind to be offered on RaiseMe. Prizes will also be awarded to the winners of the Shark Tank Challenge.

RaiseMe is a social enterprise aimed at empowering every student to build their path to higher education and beyond. Through defining a tangible path to college, giving transparency on the true costs of colleges, and introducing students to the wide range of college options, each student can find the right college for them.

How does RaiseMe work?

RaiseMe enables students to earn scholarships throughout high school, starting as early as 9th grade, for doing the things that best prepare them to succeed, whether that’s getting good grades, volunteering in their community or participating in an extracurricular.
