Women of Colors, Inc. Scholarship

The Women of Colors, Inc. Scholarship will be awarded each year to a Great Empowering Motivational Sessions (GEMS) member that is an area high school senior actively involved in efforts to empower young women and in activities that address issues affecting young women in the Saginaw Community. GEMS program members will be given priority. If no GEMS members are high school seniors, applications will be accepted from non-GEMS applicants. The scholarship will be presented at the Annual Women of Colors Anniversary & Sweetheart Getaway Fundraiser to be held in March. Eligibility:-Graduating high school seniors from Saginaw County-Minimum 2.5 GPA-Open to both males and females-Pursuing a vocational certification, associate, or undergraduate degree-Member of GEMS (Great Empowering Motivational Sessions). If no GEMS members qualify, this scholarship will be open to non-members -Recipient must be willing to make an oral presentation at the Annual Women of Colors Anniversary & Sweetheart Getaway Fundraiser to be held in MarchFor more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
