The Paula Kovarick Segalman Family Scholarship Fund for ALS

Scholarship is awarded to one individual per year, up to $25,000. (award may not exceed tuition balance) - Students must have a minimum overall grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent)- Funds must be used for payment of tuition only (not including boarding, books or fees)- Funds may only be applied to schools within the Unites States- Payment will be made to an institution or corporation directly, and not to an individual- Students may re-apply each year, but priority will be given to first time applicantsEligibility- Applicant must have a parent or legal guardian currently battling ALS or who has passed away from the disease- Applicant must be a legal resident of Washington, D.C, Maryland or Virginia- Applicant must have an annual household income of less than $50,000- Applicant must attend or be accepted to school full-time (as defined by the educational institution) at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or not-for-profit vocational-technical schoolFor more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
