The Mary Ware Scholarship

Did you know that thousands of children in Georgia live in unstable homes where they don’t have the financial resources for mentoring and academic support? Although many of these children have great academic potential, they don’t have the financial and emotional support to get them through the grade levels necessary to receive the Hope Scholarship. Eligibility:-Be a U.S. citizen-Be a graduating senior in a public school, home school or be actively achieving their GED with a May graduation. Must have resided in Georgia for 24 months-Have a GPA between 2.0 and 2.9-Submit the application and supporting documents -Not be related to anyone in the Mary Ware family or employed by Foster Care Support Foundation-Not be a recipient of another scholarship offering full financial support-Exhibit positive impact involvement shown through letters of recommendation and past work/volunteer experience-Show need for financial assistanceFor more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
