The Edmund F. Maxwell Foundation

The Edmund F. Maxwell Foundation believes it is important to acknowledge the accomplishments of high-achieving students. The Maxwell Foundation is offering financial aid for freshmen starting a four-year private college program during the upcmoing academic year. The scholarship is renewable each year over a four-year period. Students who plan to pursue a four-year degree at an accredited private college or university and who are bona fide residents of Western Washington are urged to apply. Other requirements include: completing the application fully, composing a short essay, and achieving test scores on the combined math/reading SAT scores of 1200 or more (or equivalent ACT scores). Scholarships require that there must be financial need as determined by the standard FAFSA process. Newly awarded scholarships will be limited to entering freshmen. The scholarships are designed to provide assistance to those who have shown ability, aptitude, and a promise of useful citizenship and also have a financial need. Each recipient will be a living memorial to Edmund F. Maxwell. For more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
