The de Moya Foundation Vocational/Technical Program Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to a student who wishes to attend a vocational/technical certificate program, has a documented disability, and needs financial/tutoring support to pursue his/her studies.

Vocational/technical/trade school is a post-secondary learning institution that specializes in providing students with the skills needed to perform the tasks of a particular job.Eligible fields of interest:-Construction: building maintenance, cabinet making, carpentry, electrical, construction, HVAC, masonry, plumbing, woodworking-Mechanical: automotive mechanics, heavy equipment maintenance, truck mechanics and maintenance, machining, welding, and logistics-Technology: construction, automotive, diesel, electronics, and engineering-Business for construction industry: accounting, business administrative services, and computer technologyEligibility:-Maintain a 2.5 GPA if already enrolled in a vocational/technical program-Be a Florida resident-Show financial need-Be enrolled full-time in a Florida accredited school for the school year-Use the $3,000 award towards educational expenses or tutoring support in a vocational or technical certificate program in a field related to road and bridge constructionFor more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
