The David Womack Memorial Fiber Arts Scholarship

The David Womack Memorial Fiber Arts Scholarship is available to any undergraduate student studying the fiber arts such as knitting or sewing and creating or using such materials in creative ways. The scholarship applies to attendance at any institute of higher learning in the United States. The scholarship is awarded in August for the upcoming school year. An essay and proof of college attendance/acceptance is required. The essay should be no more than five pages and discuss the applicants background, educational history, goals for the future and why the applicant believes he or she should receive the scholarship. In addition, please also include examples (images, scans, photographs or anything you feel pertinent) that demonstrate your skills, work and aesthetic.
