Stim Bullitt Civic Courage Scholarship
The Seattle Public Library Foundation is pleased to host the Stimson Bullitt Civic Courage Scholarship Competition. High school seniors and undergraduate students who live, work or attend school in Seattle are invited to participate. The competition asks students to write an essay about an individual or group of individuals from Washington state who have demonstrated civic courage on an issue of importance to the community at great personal, political or professional risk.
Eligibility:-Participants must be at least 13 years of age-Participants must live, work, or attend school in Seattle. Students who live in Seattle and attend college outside the area are eligible to participate-Participants must be high school seniors or be enrolled (or have been accepted for enrollment no later than October of the award year) as an undergraduate student in an accredited two or four-year college, technical school, or university -Participants must have their own Seattle Public Library cardFor more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
