St. John Paul II Scholarship Competition

Each year, the Institute names four John Paul II Scholars, who receive a full-tuition scholarship to study the life-giving doctrine of the faith at the Augustine Institute's campus in Denver, Colorado. John Paul II Scholars are also offered the opportunity to serve a Denver-area parish, school, or apostolate through an internship that carries a modest stipend. Eligibility: Applicants for the John Paul II Scholarship must apply for full-time graduate studies at the Augustine Institute campus in Denver, Colorado. Successful candidates will demonstrate a clear Catholic identity, aptitude for theological studies, leadership potential, and the ability to make an immediate contribution to the Institute's apostolic internship program. Scholarships can be renewed so long as satisfactory progress toward the degree is maintained (3.0 GPA). In addition to their general application essay, applicants are asked to write an additional essay of approximately 1,500 words in answer to the question: "What are the essential qualities of a leader in the New Evangelization?"For more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
