Single Parent Traditional Scholarship of Northwest Arkansas

The Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Northwest Arkansas, Inc. (SPSF NWA) works to help single parent families become financially stable and independent. We do this by providing direct financial assistance to low-income single parents who are pursuing a career-related course of study in order to gain sufficient employment to meet the basic needs of their families. Eligibility:-A single parent-A legal United States resident or a resident with DACA status, and a resident of Carroll, Madison, or Washington County, Arkansas-A high school or GED graduate-Pursuing a career-oriented course of study (full or part-time) to ensure a better standard of living for your family-Living at or near the poverty level (up to 200% of Federal Poverty guidelines)-An applicant of the Pell Grant (not required for professional certification scholarship applicants)-Must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5There are three deadlines, based on the semester: March 15, June 15, and October 15.
