Regina C. Williams Memorial Scholarships

The Educational Leaders Scholarship seeks to identify Prince Georges County high school seniors who have been accepted into a collegiate institution and will pursue a bachelor’s degree in education. The applicant must attend a Prince Georges County public school, be a Prince Georges County resident, be a U.S. citizen or hold a permanent resident visa card. Current college students are not eligible to apply. The General Education Scholarship is not limited to any specific field or career objective and may be used to pursue a bachelor's degree in any academic discipline. Applicants must excel academically, exhibit exceptional leadership potential, participate in community service activities and demonstrate financial need. The applicant must attend a Prince Georges County public school, be a Prince Georges County resident, be a U.S. citizen or hold a permanent resident visa card. Current college students are not eligible to apply.All eligible applicants must meet the following criteria:-Awards will be made to Prince George's County high school seniors who have been accepted into a collegiate institution and will pursue a bachelor's degree in Education and other areas of study -Applicant must be a full-time college/university freshman in the upcoming academic year-Relatives of the current Regina C. Williams Memorial Scholarship Foundations' Selection Committee are ineligible-Student must be a U.S. or Canadian citizen and must attend college in the U.S. during the duration of the scholarship year-Student must be currently enrolled in Prince George's County Schools with an expected graduation date of May of the current year-Student must be a Prince Georges' County Resident (Proof of PG residence must be submitted)-Student must be in good standing, have a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative overall GPA at his/her high school when application is submitted-Student must submit three brief letters of recommendation fromFor more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
