NCRMA Retail Pays for College

Retail is more than providing consumers with great products. The Retail Consumer Alliance Foundation (RCA) is in partnership with NCRMA to award 8 scholarships of for the 2016 school year! The scholarship can be applied to tuition expenses at accredited, nonprofit colleges, universities, community colleges, or approved educational and professional training institutes located within the United States. An impartial selection committee composed of educational professionals meets in the spring to select the winners. In evaluating the applicants, the committee considers:-Academic records-Test scores-Extracurricular activities-Student employment-Recommendations (although not required on the application, they are considered)-Career pathCall NCRMA to verify NC Retail Merchants Association member status before applying. All applicants or parents of applicants must still be employed by a NCRMA member company at the time winners are selected in June.
