Music Center SPOTLIGHT Program

Much more than a competition, Spotlight is a scholarship and training in the arts program, which encourages personal and artistic growth, while exploring new possibilities in the arts. Southern California High School students of all talent levels are encouraged to apply. Cash scholarships up to $5,000, master classes with world-renowned artists, performing arts workshops and more. Eligibility: -Be a Southern California high school student who attends a public, private, parochial, online or home school. Your home base must be in one of these counties: Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Diego, Riverside, Kern or San Bernardino.-Ballet students need to check the category rules page for out of state residency exceptions-Apply to one or more of these categories: acting, ballet, non-classical Dance, Classical Voice, non-classical voice, Classical Instrumental or Jazz Instrumental. -Complete the online application-Prepare and upload your audition videoFor more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
