Meena Vashee Endowed Scholarship Application for Undergraduates

The purpose of the Meena Vashee Endowed Scholarship is to provide assistance to undergraduate students at the University of Washington who are survivors of domestic violence or are the children of domestic violence survivors. The scholarship is to be awarded on the basis of academic merit and financial need. The University's Office of Student Financial Aid will determine financial need. Candidates must provide confidential, independent and verifiable documentation that they are victims of domestic violence or the children of such victims. Source documentation can include but is not limited to: police and court records, confirmation from mental health providers, physician, and caseworkers.
