Marin County Bar Association Legal Scholarship

The MCBA Legal Education Scholarship program provides funds to low income Marin students pursuing law school and legal education opportunities with scholarships up to $5,000. Funded with contributions from MCBA, it is a collaboration with 10,000 Degrees, and the Marin Community Foundation (MCF) which administers the fund. Established in 2010, the MCBA Legal Education Scholarship program was launched with a $50,000 contribution to provide financial assistance to deserving students. Eligibility:-Enrolled full-time in an accredited law school geographically located in Northern California (Santa Clara County northward)-Graduate of a Marin County high school or has continuously lived in Marin County for no less than a three-year period immediately prior to submission of the scholarship application-Demonstrated financial need-Other relevant factors that will be considered include academic achievement, community service and involvement, career goals and special circumstances as demonstrated by the completed scholarship applicationFor more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
