Lisa Higgins-Hussman Foundation Scholarship

The Lisa Higgins-Hussman Foundation Scholarship Award is for a young adult between the ages of 15 and 35 who has been affected by cancer through their own diagnosis or the diagnosis of a parent/guardian or sibling. The applicant must be a permanent resident of Maryland, DC or Virginia. Scholarship winners will be awarded a total of $2,500 over two academic semesters. Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the scholarship recipient's school. Each scholarship winner is obligated to organize and run a bone marrow registry drive with the support of Delete Blood Cancer and There Goes My Hero.For more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
