Each year, NYSARC awards scholarships to college students pursuing degrees in special education, physical or occupational therapy or a field related to intellectual and other developmental disabilities.
The Joseph T. Weingold Scholarship is awarded to students enrolled full-time in an education degree program leading to special education certification at a New York college or university. Two (2) $3,000 awards are presented annually in $750 installments. Nominations are made through the special education division of the college's education department. All nomination forms must be signed by the department chair. For more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
