Jamie L. Roberts Memorial Scholarship

The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults created the Jamie L. Roberts Memorial Scholarships to honor the memory of Jamie Roberts, whose life was tragically cut short when she was participating in the 4K for Cancer's cross-country bike ride in the summer of 2014. Jamie had a larger-than-life personality, loved sports, and her energy and enthusiasm were infectious. Her last inspirational act–to join the 4K for Cancer's cross-country ride and dedicate her journey to the family of a close friend–exemplifies how Jamie always put others before herself and wanted to do everything she could to make a difference. These scholarships will be awarded annually by each of the 4K for Cancer teams to young adults affected by cancer, either personally, or through the diagnosis of a loved one, and who embody Jamie's infectious positive attitude, love of adventure and ability to inspire others to achieve higher goals. For more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
