Helen was a devoted student and a nourishing influence at the Taoist Studies Institute for many years. At age 81, she was active in weekly classes as well as the Taoist Studies Institute community.
Helen created the annual Women of Taoist Studies Institute luncheon and helped to develop and maintain community spirit at the Institute. She consistently attended classes and managed the library. In between classes, she was often tending to the care and upkeep of the school and it was common to see her watering the plants.The Helen Graham Scholarship Fund was established in 2006 by the Taoist Studies Institute with the support of her family to honor and remember Helen. This scholarship is available to students who have the desire for deeper study, and the commitment but may need support of the scholarship fund to open the opportunity.For information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
