The Harriet Babin Miller Scholarship was established in honor of the Babin family, who were educators in the Dutchtown
school system for more than 100 years. The recipient will be a high school senior graduating with a sound record of achievement in his or her studies and of outstanding school citizenship. This annual award will also include recognition of leadership ability by selecting a graduate who has taken initiative in school activities and organizations that contribute to an improved quality of life for the greater community.Each year, the Fund provides one scholarship to a Dutchtown High School senior who will attend on a full-time basis an accredited, two and/or four year college or university.
