Golden Door Scholars

Golden Door Scholars and organizations like us provide hope for the 1.2 million undocumented youth in the U.S. Since 2013, we have awarded college scholarships to 45 exceptional students from an applicant pool of over 2200 students. Golden Door Scholars will award up to 50 scholarships. Recipients who attend Golden Door Scholars' partner colleges and universities will receive a full, four-year scholarship, less a $1,000 annual requirement to be paid by the scholar or his/her family. Scholarships are co-funded by Golden Door Scholars and our university partners. Past recipients have been high performers, both academically and in their extracurricular pursuits.Golden Door Scholars takes applications from all over the country. However, strong priority is given to students from states that charge out-of-state tuition to DACA-approved students, or undocumented students.Eligibility:-DACA or TPS-qualified -Lives in a state that doesn't allow in-state tuition for DACA students-Interested in technology or applying technology to their chosen field of study-Minimum 3.0 GPA-Taking advanced or challenging high school classes-Has held leadership positions or is involved in the community-Has applied for a variety of scholarshipFor more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.

Unlike the scholarships listed above, micro-scholarships are awarded by universities themselves for your high school achievements and don't require essay competitions or judges. Micro-scholarships can earn you up to:

for earning an A in a core class for each sport or extracurricular for working or supporting your family
