Girl Scouts of USA Prudential Spirit of Community Awards

The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards honors students in grades 5-12 who have made meaningful contributions to their communities through volunteer service. Honors are granted on the local, state and national level. Several Distinguished Finalists in each state receive bronze medallions. State Honorees (the top middle level and high school volunteer in each state and the District of Columbia) receive $1,000, silver medallions and an all-expense-paid trip with a parent or guardian to Washington, D.C. for four (4) days of national recognition events. Ten (10) National Honorees named during the trip receive $5,000 awards, gold medallions, crystal trophies for their nominating organizations and $5,000 Prudential Foundation grants for charities of their choice.
