Gene and John Athletic Fund Scholarship

The Gene and John Athletic Fund seeks to help emerging LGBTQ athletes reach their potential and realize their dreams. Created by Gene Silbert and John Kiley, the Fund was launched in 2002 at the Gay Games VI in Sydney, Australia. The Fund is Gene and John's way of giving back to a community that has been supportive and inspiring to them. The fund offers scholarships of $2,500 and $5,000. The scholarship is available to LGBTQ athletes looking to continue their education and LGBTQ students actively pursuing a sports career, either professionally or recreationally.For more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
