eQuality Scholarship Collaborative awards scholarships to honor and encourage California students for their service to the lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender community. Applicants for all scholarships must have demonstrated service to the LGBTQ community. Applicants of all sexual orientations and gender identities are eligible.
Eligibility for high school graduates:-Must be a resident of northern or central California (may study elsewhere)-Must have completed or expect to complete high school or equivalent within the last four years-Must plan to attend or began attending an accredited post-secondary institution (college, university, or vocational/trade school) for the first time this coming yearEligibility for community college transfer students:-Must be a resident of northern or central California (but may study elsewhere)-Must have graduated or expect to graduate from community college within the last four years-Must plan to attend or began attending an accredited four-year college or university for the first time this coming yearEligibility for nursing students:-Must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an accredited ADN or BSN RN program in California-Master's prepared programs with a BA/BS in a field other than nursing are eligible. RN reentry and RN to BSN or MSN programs and diploma programs are not eligible-Be in good academic standing, if just entering nursing-Minimum 3.0 GPA with a strong emphasis on math and science -Must not be an employee nor a dependent of an employee of Kaiser Permanente-Have not received an eQaulity nursing scholarship before Eligibility for medical students:-Must be attending an accredited medical school in California or be a California resident attending an accredited medical school elsewhere in the U.S.-Be in good academic standing-Have not received an eQaulity nursing scholarship before For more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
