Emporia State University Single Parents With Children Scholarship

The Single Parents with Children Scholarship is a fund that has been established to assist single, divorced, or widowed Emporia State University students who are raising children and attending school simultaneously. Scholarship funds are awarded for the academic year, with half of the disbursement in the fall semester and the remainder in the spring semester. Eligibility:-Be a single parent with primary, sole, or joint custody of your child/children-Achieve and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.75-Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the academic year when the scholarship is awarded-Demonstrate financial need based on the FAFSA-Be enrolled at ESU in at least 12 credit hours for the fall semester of the scholarship year for undergraduates, or 7 credit hours for graduate studentsThis scholarship is renewable for a total of four years. Failure to maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress results in a one semester probation period.
