Edison Scholars Program

The Edison Scholars Program, sponsored by Edison International, is offering aspiring engineers and scientists scholarships to pursue their education at a four-year colleges or universities. Graduating high school seniors in Southern California are encouraged to apply for this scholarship. Eligible students must plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate program in one of the following majors: electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, computer engineering, industrial engineering, computer sciences/information systems, environmental engineering, or environmental sciences. Eligible students must demonstrate financial need and live in or attend a public or private high school in areas serviced by Southern California Edison (SCE) or attend an eligible high school in the designated area surrounding SCE's San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS).Thirty $40,000 scholarships at $10,000/year for the attainment of a bachelor's degree will be awarded.For more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
