Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Award
The Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Awards provide $36,000 for each recipient to further their project or education. Some recipients choose to divide the award between their education and philanthropic work. Applicants must demonstrate leadership via a specific community service project that is already underway. Applications presenting a project that has not yet been initiated will not be considered.
Applicants either self-nominate and apply directly, or are they are nominated for the award by a teacher, rabbi, counselor or other member of their community who can speak to their leadership skills and the value of their project. Youths ages 13-19 (at the time of nomination) who are: serving in a leadership role on a project/initiative aimed at repairing the world, self-identify as Jewish, are olunteering without any compensation, and residents of the United States are eligible to apply.
