Dallas Center for Architecture Foundation - McDermott Traveling Fellowship

The McDermott Traveling Fellowship is awarded to an advanced architecture student to research, develop, and disseminate knowledge of the built environment. Past projects have included trips to Spain to study Moorish architecture and to Switzerland to study the works of Peter Zumthor. Eligibility:-A U.S. citizen or permanent resident-A resident of Texas-Registered as a 4th, 5th, or 6th year student at an accredited architecture program, or a recent graduate (within three years) of an accredited architecture program The fellowship must be used in the year it is awarded. If the funds are not used in this time period they will be forfeited. One-half of the award will be forwarded to the recipient upon notification of the award. Recipient agrees to present a public presentation March of the year following award, at the Dallas Center for Architecture, at which time the final half of the award will be disbursed.
