CSUB Future Scholars Program

This campus scholarship program was created by the CSU Board of Trustees and is funded from campus lottery monies on an annual basis. The CFSP was created to increase the college participation rate of students who are disadvantaged due to their socioeconomic and/or educational background. The awards are generally made to first-time freshman and new transfer students on the basis of their potential to benefit from university study. Students interested in applying must complete a CSUB CFSP questionnaire. Recipients are selected on the basis of academic achievement, economic, educational, environmental, and other factors. Scholarships of up to $1,000 per student are awarded annually. For more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
