CSUB Dr. Gary and Katy Kessler Scholarship

The Kessler Scholarship was established by Dr. Gary Kessler, CSUB Professor Emeritus and founding faculty in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies, and Katy Kessler, CSUB alumnus of 1991 and long-time administrative assistant to the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies. This scholarship program awards funds in the fall term to a graduating senior in the religious studies and/or philosophy programs. Selection criteria include academic excellence, and priority will be given to students pursuing a joint degree in religious studies and philosophy and to those with a special interest in multicultural studies.
