Chicago Police and Firefighter Training Academy Scholarship
The Chicago Police and Firefighter Training Academy (CPFTA) awards a two-year scholarship for cadets of the four-year program (two years in high school and two in college). Students must meet or exceed the following requirements to be eligible:
-A 3.0 (B) average upon completing the two-year high school component-A 90% attendance rate throughout the high school component-No Driving suspensions or revocations-Drug screeningSubmission materials:-Two letters of recommendation (one from a school official, one from a community leader)-Current physical (must be from within the last 12 months)-Copy of student's driver's license or state identification card-Copy of high school transcript for GPA and attendance verificationMeeting or exceeding these requirements will guarantee a scholarship to attend one of many City Colleges of Chicago.For more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
