A.V. Stout Fund Research Grant
Established in the 1950s by Andre Stout and his father, A. Varick Stout, the fund has supported numerous conservation efforts over the decades, including the New England Salmon Association. Upon the dissolution of that organization in 1997, due to the retirement of its founder and President, Andrew Stout, the funds were transferred to the Norcross Wildlife Foundation, Inc. to carry on the conservation work by administering the assets as the A. V. Stout Fund.

The research, ideas and programs supported by the Fund will give resource administrators and policy makers better understanding in managing the political and environmental issues involved. The Fund is open to qualified students, interns, resource managers and organizations.
