To be considered for a Foundation scholarship, please complete and return the current scholarship application and include the requested support materials required for submission. Applicants will submit a nonspecific application which will be evaluated against the scholarship criteria. Application materials must be postmarked. Applications sent by fax or email will not be accepted.
The AQHF Youth Scholarship is for students who have been members of AQHA or AQHYA for a minimum of three years cumulatively and rank within the upper 25% of their high school graduating class, exhibit an affinity for the advancement of the American Quarter Horse, and demonstrate leadership potential. Members must be high school or home schooled seniors when applying. Students currently enrolled as first-year college freshmen are not eligible. Current or previous AQHF Scholarship recipients are not eligible. Recipients must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA. Funding for this scholarship will be applied to a four-year undergraduate degree program of the student's choice.For more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
