AIM Marksmanship Scholarship Program

The Amateur Trapshooting Association would like to present scholarship opportunities to its members enrolled in the AIM Program. Only shooters who excel in Trapshooting and have achieved a somewhat high level of success should apply for the scholarship. Only shooters who have an average of 90% or higher are eligible to participate. Average will be comprised of all ATA registered targets shot across all disciplines for the target years. Eligibility:-Be a current member of the ATA and AIM between 16 and 23 years of age-Shoot at least 2,000 registered targets in the target years-Attach an essay answering the following prompt: "How have your successes on the trap field shaped you as an individual?"-Attach three letters of reference, including one from your coach or another ATA Member and one from a teacher-Be a member of an AIM Trap Team-Participate or serve as a volunteer at an ATA State Championship, Zone Shoot, or Satellite Grand-Participate or serve as a volunteer at the Grand American-Attend or volunteer at an NRA/ATA Trap Camp-Complete a state-sponsored hunter education course-Participate in a shooting clinic other than ATA/NRA-Visit the Hall of Fame Museum, National Firearms Museum, or another Museum which features firearm displays-Be recognized by the Amateur Trapshooting Association as an All-American or AIM All-Star-Shoot "100 Straight" at an ATA registered shoot-Be a team captain as appointed by your team's coach-Be featured in Trap and Field Magazine-Shoot 1,000 ATA registered targets-Have shot ATA registered targets in all three ATA disciplines-Won a Championship trophy at a State Shoot, Zone Shoot, Satellite Grand, or the Grand American-Have won a trophy in the AIM online zone shoot, AIM State Shoot or AIM Grand Championship-Be a founder and have started a team or youth organizationFor more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
