GRCF Economic Club Business Study Abroad Scholarship
The Economic Club of Grand Rapids established a fund in 2000 to provide financial assistance to students pursuing study abroad in business. The Economic Club is an association of individuals interested in and contributing to the growing economic health of the Grand Rapids metropolitan area.
Eligibility: -Applicant must have sophomore or above standing at the time of application in an undergraduate business program or in a graduate-level business program at any public college or university of their choice.-Applicant must have a declared major in accounting, business administration, economics, managerial science (all areas), mathematics, computer science, engineering, marketing, or fields of study related to business or economics -Applicant must have at least a 3.0 GPA-Applicant must be a resident of Kent, Allegan, Ottawa, or Muskegon counties for the prior three years or must be a resident student at a public college or university in the West Michigan area for the prior two years or more consecutively-Foreign study programs must be endorsed and accepted as a part of or as a credit course in the applicant's degree-granting college or university. Evalee C. Schwarz Charitable Trust for Education Scholarship
The Evalee C. Schwarz Charitable Trust for Education was created under the Will of Evalee C. Schwarz to provide interest-free loans to undergraduate and graduate students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance and significant financial need.
Eligibility:- Be a U.S. citizen at the time of application- Qualify for financial need in the form of government grants. Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals
CBYX for Young Professionals is a yearlong fellowship, funded by the German Bundestag and U.S. Congress through the U.S. Department of State. The program annually gives 75 American young professionals the opportunity to study, work, and live with a host in Germany. The CBYX program consists of three phases: two months of German language school; four months of classes in your career field at a university, technical school, or professional school; and a five-month internship in your career field. Participants are placed throughout Germany. CBYX is primarily designed for participants in business, engineering, technical, vocational, and agricultural fields, though applicants in all fields are encouraged to apply.

South Dakota Retailers Association Jerry Wheeler Scholarship Program
SDRA's Jerry Wheeler Scholarship program is designed to encourage and support students studying for a career in retailing. To be eligible, applicant must be enrolled in or planning to enroll in a retail-related course of study at a technical school, college or university, or other trade school in the fall of the application year. Enrollment in an online program is acceptable if applicant meets other eligibility requirements. Internships do not qualify.

Nellie Martin Carman Scholarship Fund
Founded in 1949, the Nellie Martin Carman Scholarship is available to graduating seniors from public high schools in King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties in Washington state. Application forms are only available through these high schools and candidates for the scholarship are nominated by their school each year. Awards range from $500 to $2,000 a year, and scholarships are renewable for four (4) years of college in the state of Washington. Approximately 35-40 awards are made each year depending on funds available for new awards and renewal awards.

A.J. Grisanti Memorial Scholarship Fund
This scholarship is for any student pursuing an education in a restaurant, food-service, or hospitality related major. First preference will be given to students attending a school in Kentucky. Followed by any culinary arts students at Johnson & Wales University, or the Culinary Institute of America. Followed by Hotel and Restaurant Administration majors at Indiana University-Purdue and Bloomington, Indianapolis Vocational Technical College, University of Denver, Wake Technical College, Rochester Institute of Technology, Southeast Community College, Kendall College, or College of DuPage.

Jim Funk Scholarship
Established in 2012, this scholarship is the LRA Education Foundation's most prestigious award. It is named for the former LRA President and CEO Jim Funk who was instrumental in starting this foundation during his 30 years of service to the LRA. This scholarship is renewable on an annual basis for up to four years provided minimum GPA and enrollment standards are met.
Applicants must be currently enrolled or accepted in a bachelor and/or associate degree seeking program for at least two (2) consecutive semesters/terms after the award date. Courses of study can include, but are not limited to, culinary, hospitality & tourism, business, or management programs in order to pursue a career in the restaurant, food service, tourism, or hospitality industry.
