About University of Wisconsin - Stout

The University of Wisconsin-Stout, Wisconsin’s Polytechnic University, combines applied learning with the liberal arts to offer career-focused education on campus and online. Each year, we provide our 9,500 students with hands-on experience and opportunities to conduct applied research in facilities featuring three times as many labs as classrooms. Although Stout offers the liberal arts experience, many of our programs are unique to Stout or are offered at very few other universities, and ninety-eight percent of our graduates are employed or pursuing advanced degrees within six months of graduation.
