I like how the University is split up into separate colleges. With the college system, students can get more one on one help from counselors and advising staff.

One of the best things about UCSD is the location. The beach only minutes away, and the views are stunning. You can’t beat Southern California weather, either. These things provide great opportunities for recreation. Add that to the endless academic resources and opportunities, and you have an awesome university. Admittedly, this produces some pressure, both self-induced and from the environment . Overall, I have the sense that you can make your UCSD experience what you want it to be.

I love the atmosphere. I'm not too much of a party person so I appreciate that it's not a "party school." I also love the look and the feel of campus. I also love the diversity of students and the weather. The academics are challenging especially since it's a trimester school, but that's a big reason why I'm here.
