About Augustana College

Augustana is a selective, private college of the liberal arts and sciences with a diverse student body of 2,500. The college’s beautiful campus is located in Rock Island, Illinois, part of the Quad Cities (pop. 400,000) along the Mississippi River. Faculty mentors and career coaches help connect students with the many career-building and hands-on learning opportunities in the area, and students can use $2,000 Augie Choice funding towards study abroad, research or an internship. More than 90 majors and related academic programs include the humanities and fine arts, strong natural and social sciences, and pre-professional fields from engineering to law to medicine.
